Berry Cobbler

A family and neighborhood favorite, this cobbler was one made by my mom and dad’s former neighbors across the street. It’s SO easy to do when you have leftover fruit/berries to use up.

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 stick melted butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup berries

Combine all dry ingredients, mix in melted butter and buttermilk. Grease cobbler dish/pie pan and pour batter in. Top batter with berries of your choice (black, blue, raspberries). Bake at 375 degrees and check at 30 minutes. The edges brown very quickly when the time reaches 30-35 minutes. Serve warm!
