Homemade Garlic Bread

If only I could eat this bread all day, every day. This recipe is enough to make half a French baguette:

  • 1 French baguette or preferred bread
  • butter
  • 2 T Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • dried basil

Cut the baguette in half and cut bread into two. Melt a 1/4 stick of butter and add the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Mix together and use a basting brush to coat the inside of the bread. Sprinkle dried basil over top. Turn on the broiler to high and broil for 2 minutes. Dip in juices from Italian sausage and peppers
